Hey Chris
I live on Line 9 between creek rd and concession 2, I probably have seen your parent's place. If you're ever back in NOTL drop me an email.

Hi - Jasper - I moved to Vancouver Island in 1972 at age 7, moved to Vancouver in 1985, and have lived in North Vancouver since 1998.

I'm on assignment in North Wales for three years, but intend to come bck to Canada in 2011.

I have an Speedmaster Pro and a 16750 GMT. I'd like to fill out my collection with a submariner, either a Tudor or a 1680..it's gotta have a plexi crystal though.

This forum was invaluable to me while I was researching what Rolex I wanted to buy, and even hooked me up with a seller. I figured out *exactly* what watch I wanted after a few dozen hours of searching and asking questions. Then one dropped into my lap.

Pure fate.

Hello everyone! I'm Marc from Mississauga. I'm a chemist by trade and spend most of my free time in summer golfing, sitting by the pool or detailing my car (I find it calming...lol). In the winter, it's all about home reno's or travelling. I currently have a SS Daytona as my only remaining Rolex.

My name is Vernon, I reside in Markham. I'm a Product Marketing Engineer for a semi-conductor company.

In my spare time (hard to come by now a days), I play Gears of War on my Xbox 360, horse around with my 3 yr old son and watch dvd movies.

Oh and I looooove, Tim Horton's coffee.

Brent here - born, raised and living in Vancouver (big old house in west Kits, with my lovely wife and a nasty res. dog). Trained as an Architect, I've been building custom homes for quite a few years now. I like seakayaking the incredible wet coast in the summer, and rockclimbing in Thailand in the winter.

I started out with a $300 5513 about 30 yrs ago. I foolishly got rid of that one ($600) just as the prices started to take off. I currently have 5 different models of vintage Tudor subs (including a couple of blue Snowys), a vintage Omega Speedmaster Pro and a Speedy Type 4.5 auto (with the Lemania 5100), an Orient Star 300m sat diver, an early Oris Big Crown 300m, a Marathon SAR (on a Maple-leaf bracelet, of course), a Fortis Cosmonaut GMT 200m, a Tag Heuer Super Pro 1000m, a Seiko Scubamaster Stingray Kinetic, a Seiko SUS 4S15-7020, a couple of Heuer Bunds, a half dozen other classic vintage chronos, and a whole bunch of etc.

Oh yeah, and my latest favourite - a mint Wittnauer Electro-Chron from 1961 on a mesh Bambi bracelet.

Hi all..
Another Vancouver-ite..
My name is Thomas, newby here, live in Burnaby BC. .(orig from NYC..). Carpenter for a restoration Co. and run my own biz on the side.
I've been wanting a Real Rolex for some time...since I've had my k/o from Asia.
My current collection of watches (of 'value') are my dad's old Elgin and my grandpa's old Hamilton Cabot, circ. 1950's.. plus my trusty Seiko of 30yrs.
Great site for Rolex info..and in search for a TT DT 116233 champagne late model.
Almost bought 1 in StLucia for $7k - probably should have....!!
Oh well, the search goes on.

My name is Robert. I live in Ottawa. The only watch I wear is my S/S GMT IIc.
I work for the government and travel around the world-hence the need for the watch.

On the side, I work in the animation/comic book industry as graphic artist. (Marvel/Nelvana/Cinar/Universal/etc.) Been at it for 16 years!

I enjoy cars, cultures and all kinds of competitive sport-except for the ones with mindless violence.

Cheers!

Ian here. Vancouver BC is where I call home! Am from the UK originally, moved here just over ten years ago.

I am a self employed consultant working with a variety of folks including Musicians and Actors.

Am thinking of a move back to Europe in the next year or so and then splitting my time between here and there!
