Birth year 1680

Been looking for a birth year for a while. Thoughts?

It’s a 1980.

Very cool!! In what shape was the bracelet?

I’ve been thinking about a birth year watch at some point but don’t know if I’d go Rolex or something else.

Enjoy!

Bracelet in great shape. But after wearing modern bracelets the rickity old bracelet doesn’t do it for me! I also like the playing off the patina colors.

How would I go about trying to find a No Date Sub from 1981?

First, no Rolex model will be 1680, ah shucks.

Second, that makes you either 337or 338 years old. Would you mind sharing the long live secret?

There must have been some serious diving going on back in the 17th century!

Comparison

Hi... I don't see many 1680s from 1980 posted on here. So, you can compare it with my 6.1 mill serial, if you like.

Flimsy?! This would have come with a 93150, mine feels really solid!

I have been coveting a 1971 1680 for ages..... the old “should hace pulled the trigger the last time” syndrome got me to the point that it’s unobtanium now.

Excellent choice. I like how you sell the strap over the bracelet.
