Rolex Kermit spotted

My girlfriend and I bought a recipe book by Marco Borges.

I noticed that in pictures of the author, he is wearing a Rolex 16610lv!

Just wanted to share.

(The pic is from his book, “The 22-Day Revolution Cookbook”)IMG_6690.JPG

I can’t see the hint of green on the bezel, but I’ll take your word for it

Cool shot.

Can’t tell that it’s an LV, but nonetheless it looks like a Rolex

I tried taking another pic up close to the watch, but my phone won’t read it.

It just looks like a blur.

Have a good one!

Iron Chef

I was watching Iron Chef the other night and Geoffrey Zarkarian was wearing one too...16610LV must be a popular choice for the kitchen

Huh? Because it's a rolex forum. That's what we do here, care about Rolexes and spotting them is fun. How did you accidentally end up here?

I can relate, just another dude with a Rolex. I could Google photos of all kinds of people wearing Rolexes. Not sure why this is cool or news, shoot, I wear a Rolex, so does everyone here.
We should post pics of each other..

In defence of the OP, I don't think this thread was meant to be groundbreaking or a major news item or anything.

Just a bit of fun.

I think we should all just chill and go with it, if you don't want to participate, fine, but no need to start posting negative comments.

Regards

My comment isn't negative in my point of view. His thread is posted in a public forum for all to see and share their opinions. If he or you only want people to post positive feel good views in this or any other thread then this is the wrong place. Just as those who are free to post "OMG, amazing, he's wearing a Rolex". I'm also free to post "ok, cool story, we all have Rolexes".

This forum is open and I haven't been disrespectful or "unchilled" out, I just shared the other side of the thought process. Is that not allowed anymore.

The OP was reading a book and saw a picture of the author and he had a Kermit. I would have shared it too. It's not like he just went on Google images looking for Rolexes. No need to troll TRM

The "twit" emoji gave the impression you were implying it was a stupid thread and one to be sneered at.

Apologies if I misinterpreted your thought process.

It's all good my friend

Hmmm I see how that can be, particularly when you name the emoji. I just go by what they look like, which to me that guy seems like he's trying to understand then suddenly get's it, finds it funny or entertaining. Perhaps I need to consider the emoji "name" too.

I guess I have seen enough regular people and celebrities in my everyday life to not really be enthusiastic about someone wearing a Rolex, as in: I was at a John Mayer concert and noticed he was wearing the white gold BLRO, or just watched Helen and she had on a gold Daytona..

However, I will admit that if it's something more unique, I would take notice...
As in John Mayer or Shaggy wearing rainbow Daytonas...
or if in fact Helen were spotted with the BLRO on her show -today(next year I wouldn't care)..

Now that's just me. So in this case I was underwhelmed I guess. But I'm still excited about Rolex/watches and have fun spotting them in my everyday life still.

Hello everybody!

Let me explain.

I myself enjoy when people spot a Rolex on somebody.

Either in a show, a movie, a magazine, or whatever.

I enjoy seeing those threads, don’t know why, I just do.

We bought the book, I was going through it, and saw the watch, so I wanted to share, just in case somebody in the forums also enjoys that kind of thread.

I know it’s not a big deal, but that can be said of many other threads in the forum.

Some threads are interesting to me, and some aren’t.

I simply skip the threads that aren’t interesting to me, and enjoy the ones that are.
