I'm a bit taken by surprise by the 5167 I was expecting something a bit grander. I have one, I love it, I'm keeping it until I'm dead. I hope you like yours just as much!

A week incoming is brutal tease--but huge congrats!

5167 is a perfect Patek keeper .

Knowing Mike, I have a feeling this was just a diversion from 5204P incoming

Mike,

Congratulations. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on 5167 vs 5164. I have been debating whether to upgrade to 5164 from 5165 that I currently have and wear. The appeal of the dual time is quite big for me.

Jan

I am certain to be a minority here, but I find it not that difficult to read off the date on my 5164. Yes a window is definitely clearer but I find the pointer dial more unique that a boring window. And the slightly thicker casing gives it a more rugged sporty look. The 5167 is more dressy and delicate looking. I traded off the 5167 for a 5164

Sorry, no offence intended, just wanted to respond to some of you who asked to do a comparison between the 5167 and 5164. That is only my point of view. The beauty is that everyone's taste is different, which makes the watch industry so interesting

Mike - Are you still planning a comparison between the two models ? I would very much like your opinions.

Sorry guys. I know I've been derelict in getting a few reviews out. Still intending to do a 5227r review and a 5167/5164 comparison.

Been crazy busy at work the last couple of months.
