I think it looks pretty good and after seeing this I am sure that the 5711p will look even better

I didn't even notice the batons to be honest. I don't necessarily even like the Nautilus range so I am possibly inherently biased but I don't think it's as bad as the original pictures and it's just a lot of chest bashing for actually not a bad looking watch!!!

If the large 5976 was in steel, no diamonds and no embossed 40th anniversary date on the dial, priced like the 5980 was priced, Patek would sell all they could make. I know, it's not conservative, understated, subtle, in the tradition of Patek, but, it would be a great looking modern watch.

I would agree with that and have a feeling we will see more from them in the coming years in this size and SS.

We have to wait to see it in person. Even the text on the dial, i'm sure that is not going to bee so visible in person.
