Where does your Rolex money go

I wrote this long-form article about where some of our Rolex money is going. I just published it today. I think it's a good reminder why I love the brand.

I hope you'll enjoy it: https://coron.et/new-long-reads/wher...rolex-money-go

Interesting article - thanks OP!

I'm glad I actually read it. (Came in here to post: "These days my Rolex money goes into motorcycles" )

Thank you so much for that fascinating article, askdanny! I´ve known about some of the Wilsdorf Foundation´s good works, but in your article was something of particular interest to me...the saving of Le Plaza cinema! I grew up in Geneva, and Le Plaza was my favourite cinema by a mile. I loved going there. Geneva´s biggest cinema when I was growing up it was rather futuristic, superbly comfortable with a huge screen and fantastic sound system, air-conditioned too! I loved it, and was saddened to hear some years ago that the building complex it was located in was to be demolished. Then I heard that everything is being restored and will be re-opened in 2026, but had no idea that Wilsdorf was behind it!
