42mm Patek Duo

Not too many Patek options for those with a big wrist - even 5905 wears small (I traded mine). These two fit well on a generous wrist and would make a fair two watch collection (not that my collection is heading in that direction...).

Had the blue dial 5905p. Concave bezel makes the dial small for case size and dark color makes it wear even smaller. The blue sunburst was striking but the whole package didn’t work for me. This blue fits me better.

This is spot on. While the 5905 is thick- the concave bezel does make it wear small. I’ll be trading mine in after owning for about 3 years. Love the watch but time to apply the funds to a perpetual calendar. 5270.

Which one? I have been thinking about this myself. 5270j looks great (I like yellow metals for dress watches) and can be bought new with name on the papers for whatever that’s worth. But if you look at where pre-owned prices are on the 5270r, g and p, there will be a giant haircut on driving it out of the lot.

Haven’t decided but definitely not platinum. Will either be r or g. Not worried about haircut...it’s my grail piece and I’ll buy it right.

Not that I have one, but I thought the 5524 wears big.

Wearing mine right now. I think it wears true to size. Feels proper on the wrist for a guy like me. 6’4 about 215 pounds. It’s perfect as far as I’m concerned.

Like em both but I think the orange 5968 is a bit more playful. More presence whereas the hand grenade is a bit more understated.
