1 1/2 watts is a sufficient amount for any occasion for sure...! A real Treat for sure

one and a half watts will burn your eyes balls out for sure. I use it to hunt scorpions and other bugs around the home.

I currently have two custom builds - a 1 watt which is toward the upper end of power for a green laser, and a 5 watt blue that will write on plywood as shown in the picture and if steadied on a tripod, can pop a car tire from across the street. What's next? Maybe a PM piece?? lol

Green is great if you want to shine for distance, but if you want to burn something you need blue like mine.

Any others with the awesome built top shelf LED "Flashlights"...? They have genuine rated Lumens and quality built 2nd to none..
