Was on my club chat today and I thought of you OP. With the Pina and Lightweight wheels you’d blend in easy into the Singapore cycling scene

Was in Dubai last July and at one of the LBS they had about 30 sets of "LIGHTWEIGHT" Wheels in stock and pretty much the norm for wheels in Dubai.. I also was in Singapore in January and seen lots of high end bikes and wheel sets...

Roof rack, not required, if you drive Merc' E Class Estate.
In the Dordogne we once slept in the back with 2 bikes. (road back to hotel closed by flooding). ......who said Mercedes Estates aren't sexy!... |

Bought mine, sold mine, and bought back another one as its the most convenient for my car. Now to find some attachments that fit or a way to get mine to work with these wide bars

Nice but why did you not just go with a SEASUCKER ROOF Mount where everything is self contained and in about 5 minutes you can put it on your roof and comes off in just a matter of a few seconds..? THULE makes roof mount racks like you pictured and may have your missing pieces you need to finish up your setup....

The main reason I bought it was so I can take my Kayak with me, I'd just hate having to use my ugly hanging trunk bike rack when I really want to admire my bikes on my roof haha |

I love them and if you look through this thread you will see how many I own. I have those you also pictured. I have a double but no real need for a triple and sure would take a bit of time to mount three bikes up there... I mainly use mine running the roads of SriLanka..

I'd consider a roof rack if I was riding nothing but sub-20lb road bikes, but I've got a Specialized e-bike and my girlfriend has a pretty heavy city bike. I've got a Thule Easyfold XT2 hitch mount platform rack that I really like. It folds up to an extremely compact size and takes up very little garage space. I can mount the rack to my car and install two bikes in around five minutes. It has 130lb capacity so it can take pretty much anything you'd put on it. It mounts pretty tight to my car and I haven't had any clearance issues, and I can tilt it forward with bikes mounted on it to get into my hatch. The only downside is that it wasn't cheap at $800, if you can even find one in stock.

Decided not to take our LandCrusier to Tahoe and mounted the m5 with our bikes instead. Hard mounting points really pay dividends at high speeds and in the twisties. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My factory BMW roof rack was my favorite I ever owned. Such a great design.
