So happy and relieved that that shocking final play in game four didn’t become defining for Taylor, Muncy, Smith and Jansen. The Dodgers deserved this so much and did it tough today. So many legends in that team. I don’t know what would have happened if it had to go seven, with Turner’s late positive COVID test!

So happy for Kershaw and Kenley. And all of them really. They were all instrumental. But especially Seager and Turner, Kershaw, Buehler and Urías, and Mookie, Belli and Joctober Pederson.

Lovely that Roberts gave a shout-out to Stripling.

On the Rays’ side: What a major talent Arozarena is. And Snell. Feel for Kiermaier and Lowe. It’s not true that the team rode solely on Arozarena; Kiermaier and Lowe were very good at times too, punishing some of the more average Dodger pitching moments.

32 years’ waiting, but maybe 2017 should have been stripped from the Astros?

I can't believe Cash pulled Snell, he was on fire. Sometimes you have to put the stat sheet back in your pocket and trust your pitcher, especially a Cy Young winning pitcher.

Great series to watch, game 4 should go down as one of the best in World Series history. Congrats to the Dodgers, they were long overdue.

Particularly happy for Kershaw. After what happened to him last year against Washington, thought he might never recover, at least not upstairs. But you really have to hand it to him, he changed his training methodology in the off-season and in spite of his declining velocity, had a stellar postseason. For a guy with his kind of résumé, being able to remove that one red mark has to feel awesome.

Agreed, that move will haunt him till the day he dies. Snell was none to happy about the bad move either.
I look forward to next season when hopefully the bug will be behind us and I can get back to Yankee Stadium. Congrats Dodger fans

Just like when Grady Little left Pedro in too long in 2003.

Congratulations Dodger fans

I was meh about the NBA and baseball after they restarted. I just didn't consider it the same as normal....and I think there will be a huge asterisk next to the Laker and Dodger wins. Granted, Dodgers may have very well won anyways if they played 162.

I feel the NFL has been the most realistic so far.....although there will still be an asterisk next to the SB winner (although not as big of one as in the NBA and MLB).

Really hoping the 2021 seasons don't go the same way...

Expanded playoffs made this one even harder to win than normal.

But, Snell had gone a major-league-longest 21 straight starts without completing six innings, including in every outing in 2020. Plus, pulling the starter and getting aggressive was how Tampa Bay played all year.

The move didn’t work out, but percentage-wise (Snell) and team-wise, it wasn’t surprising.

Anyway, congrats to the Dodgers. Happy for them.

Dodgers were historically good in the regular season (43-17) and the best MLB team. The playoffs this year were harder than any other year. I don’t think there’s any asterisk for the Dodgers’ win.

What was particularly odd about it was Snell's pitch count.
They've shown a willingness to let him throw 100 pitches, (4 different times this season) yet in arguably their most important game, he was yanked after just 73.
