Not a Rolex, but it is vintage - a 1956 Jaeger LeCoultre.
It has a 'bumper' movement.

Neat! I have that dial on a ref. 6480 from the same era.

Abel, what exquisite taste you have. A rose gold tri-compax! Amazing. You should do a SOTC (state-of-the-collection) post sometime, Rolex and others together, just to put your collection in perspective.

Adam: Thank you so much!! You are very kind indeed!!
I had a very special opportunity to buy this little beautiful watch not very long ago. Though I focus mainly in Rolex (and I do not consider myself a serious watch collector) I felt I couldn´t let pass the opportunity to keep this U/G classic watch.
Will keep in mind your suggestion, though please do not think I have many pieces worth showing, like this one.
I appreciate your message Adam!
Thank you so much.
Abel.

Thank you for your comment Abel, I just love the gilt dials, so special I think.

For me though, your 5508 (and your story behind it) is a very special watch and probably my favourite that I Have seen here on TRF.
