Date just dial switch
Hi guys,
I’m thinking about trading out of my 1990s polar exp2 to a dj41.. just a change freshen up. Ideally I wanted a blue stick on either smooth or fluted with oyster.. but the premium being asked for blue stick / azurro is a bit much. I’m tempted to go for one of the more classic dials then when it comes service time, get Rolex to switch it. Will they still do dial switches for you on a service and does anyone know how much they cost? Thank you in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have found through previous searches in here. Prob should have done that first. Cheers
Apparently: Dial must have been in the line up when watch produced. Not a recent addition. Rolex will only do it if they’re also doing a service They keep the old dial ~ 550 usd, not sure what UK price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yea I remember I was thinking about getting an alternative in my old WG Daytona, just for a different look.. but the fact you don’t get to keep the original was a bit of a turn off

You might want to contact Rolex first as the more popular dials are not an option for change. You can not get a blue dial put on the Sky-Dweller. Look at OEM dials on EBay, I know, but there are several legitimate dealers on there. I have purchased several dials that were all good and had my Rolex certified tech swap them out for a fraction of the cost of a service and the dial. And I got to keep my original dial. Also be aware of the hands as some might not work based on lume. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
