Well first accuracy well as a Rolex is built to be a chronometer in the first place I would expect them to show good accuracy.The same could be said for any other chronometer tested watch.But most mechanical watches today with a bit of careful regulation could and will run to the COSC spec.But mechanical watches in general run a few seconds fast or slow a day.And I am 100% those few seconds either way will not effect the every day running of life.Consistancy is one of the most important things with any mechanical watch.

hahaha I have never owned a Rolex that was truly accurate. When I had my Daytona I had to send it back to Rolex NYC 3 times to get it to be sort of accurate. Gald to hear you have one that works properly. My new to me GMTII is fairly accurate so im happy.
