Thanks, I definitely recommend it - favorite watch I’ve ever owned without a close second.

What's your favorite out of the collection?

Could be Rolex, could be a Timex - whatever it is, post a picture and tell us why it's your favorite! And the rule is that it can only be one.

Here's mine - my first Rolex that I bought pre-owned in 2010 (back when I didn't know what 16710 meant - just that it was a GMT!), the one I lusted over since I first heard about Rolex and watches, the one that made the most sense as a pilot. Built like a tank and just a joy to wear; still my go-to travel partner to this day. Will be going to our eldest in the future!

Probably my first Rolex, the only one had purchased new back on 1995: 16610 S serial

I have struggled to select one favorite in my collection and I simply can’t. Believe me I have tried. If I were forced to own one, just one watch for the rest of my life , it would either be 126610LN or 126710BLRO ( tie position), but that doesn’t mean they are my favorite by any means.

Today I would have to answer my new OP41 (the new penny thing..)

However I agree with some of the above statements, if I had to only keep one my small modest collection it would be my first Rolex, my Submariner 2 liner

The Tudor Black Bay GMT is my everyday favorite as well. While I like my 14060M two liner, the Tudor seems end up on my wrist more often.

I like your GS the most from your collection, regret that I never bought that model when I had the chance.

Thank you! It is a very striking watch and one that I actually purchased from a fellow forum member here. They pop up from time to time, and I would recommend snagging one. It's better than the recent re-editions that they've done.

Of all the watches I have and have had I think this is the one that really does it for me the most.

Besides the overall look and color which I love, it does so much and offers more than my other watches.

It has the chrono, the date, the moon phase, 100m water resistance, coaxial escapement, sapphire chrystal front and back, bracelet with on-the-fly micro adjustment, beautiful alligator strap with the best deployant in the business, sunburst dial, lumed hands and indices, 60 hr power reserve, all premium materials top to bottom, and I can even use the right subdial as a dual time second timezone function.

This baby has it all. Love my Rolexes but if I could only keep one watch this would probably be it!

You know what I’m not really a fan of 5 digits but every time you post the shot of your old GMT it makes me want one for a daily.

Very close call between this and my SD43, but perhaps its because SD43 is newer. I think most likely the Omega is the one if I'm only allowed to keep one.

Btw, I see you like to run your chronos all the time as well =)

Haha thanks.

I'm nasty and I'm telling you the truth. I bought mine back in 2007 for 3800 pounds (full set) from a TZ.uk member.

Bought my 16710 in 2010, full set pre-owned for right around $3,600. Just goes to show you that these things didn't go up every year back then!

That is a beauty, I very much regret passing on one a while back, but the timing was poor. I think I'll have to keep an eye out for when another pops up!

My favorite watch continues to be my Journe CB. I actually wish it wasn’t so highly valued in the secondary market because it’s made me more nervous to wear it as often as I want.

I love the color and heft of the tantalum case, the size, the slimness, the rose gold movement, the slight quirkiness of the Journe styling, the stealthiness and it’s incredibly balanced feel on the wrist. I like wearing it with a suit or just hanging out with friends on the weekend. It’s so effortlessly stylish. Simply a very special Goldilocks watch for me.

But if the question was about my choice for an all-around, one-watch collection it would be my OP39 white dial.

Looks great in black. I also have the SD43 and agree close call. The Omega just has a little more going on and I feel like it sits on my wrist a little better. Love then both.

Yeah - it's the whole point of the thread.

Also, he did tell us why. Nothing is self-explanatory in the watch world!

I’m with you on this one. Just got back from vacation and brought 3 watches with me, kept coming back to this one. Picked mine up in February and after the initial sticker shock, it is the one I reach for the most…

No baguettes. As much as I love that dial, my lifestyle, wardrobe, vibe, etc….calls for the regular dial. The baguettes are gorgeous, but very contradictory to my style.
