As Dave recommended in this and his other thread, I started paying attention to my PSA last year. Upon reading more about I found that it's not only the numerical value of the PSA test result that's important, but also the increase over time.
My results had been consistently increasing but are on the normal side but I had a couple of tests that were double of last year. I talked to my doctor and he recommended another test which came back as lower than my last year's test. There are variables that can affect the test results so it's very important to stay on top of it guys. |
