GMT Master 1675 Long E MK1

  • Received this watch as a Christmas gift in 1969--cost $150
  • Wore it 24/7 up until 2001--many services with RSC, last one NY
  • Wear it now for outside activities when going gets rough and on special occasisons
  • The Pepsi is the classic original GMT that the "coke" and "all-black" can only dream of being!

Excited!!

I'm due to collect my 16710 GMT Pepsi today.

It's a 2000 year with Swiss made dial, and non SEL. Seems it's been a bit of a safe queen, and assuming all goes well I will have it later today (200 mile trip to see it).

Photos hopefully to follow.

This is a Pepsi only thread...

I’ve owned my 16700 for 4 month and it gets worn with business dress most weeks. I wear a 116610LN at the weekends and a 1655 once a month for a few days when the correct date comes around.

1967 Rolex 1675 - First of the matte dial 1675's that came with the small GMT hand.

This was the transitional model that came out after the gilt dials were discontinued.

Correct me if i am wrong but from what i have read the matte dials with the small GMT had were made for less than a year before going to the matte dial with the large GMT arrow. Most likely they were using up the last of the small GMT hands from the gilt dial GMT's before using the large arrow GMT hands.

I am hoping this makes this watch some what rare and collectible.

Full set with box and papers.
