I’m somewhat indifferent about it – as watches go, it’s alright.
Hardly the best thing since sliced bread, especially when taking the titchy movement into account – which is an industry thing – but Patek should be leading by example rather than following the herd.
This one could’ve done with a bracelet too.

Answer me this… why are you so preoccupied with what I have?
Of what benefit is it for you to know?
On no other forum does any member get on like you do in this respect.

We want to see your watches PJ because we know what you don't like and we're curious about what you like enough to spend your own money on. That's it.

PJS...the 5070 has achieved almost "god like" status and has the smallest movement / case size I have seen and then we gave AP and most of those are also pretty tiny. I guess in this case, size doesn't always count

I think we've gone too many posts without a Balmain 5522.

A bracelet? On a pilot’s watch? Are you sure?

Are you under an impression that the 5522 will only be worn under one's leather bomber jacket?
Yes, I'm absolutely sure the 5522 could've been offered with a bracelet — it's just a modern everyday Pilot–themed watch.
IWC put a bracelet on their Spitfire & Mark XVI–XVIII, and no-one batted an eyelid — so it's not an alien concept for pieces produced in the 21st Century.
If authenticity is your primary concern, then maybe you should be more surprised that Patek went with an atypical crown design for a vintage-inspired Pilots watch.

Because they want to know if you actually own anything or if you hate every watch.
