I have large wrists and actually need the DE to wear the DSSD comfortably. I ordered a small link from the AD so I could probably add that in its stead and have it fit properly again.

I made a mistake on my prior post. Ive made some changes. I have 4 links on 6 o clock side and 5 links on 12 o clock side with the 5th link acting as my glide lock and divers extension removed and now with this set up it feels perfect. Sorry about my comment that I felt no difference. I really feel the difference after playing around with different set ups. I removed the little half link also that was one of my problems.

Have both a 9315 and 93150 for my red 1680 Submariner.
The DE on the 93150 endured a lot of wear and abuse in military and SCUBA use. AD said that he had never seen a bracelet so pounded after 50 yrs of use. Hence, it probably should be removed for a more comfortable fit-in warmer water. Will use it on my 5512 when a NATO is not in place. For serious diving, recommend a NATO as a backup. If one spring bar is lost for any reason-the watch remains on the band strap and is not lost. |
