Panerai Pam312

I have a couple of questions for experts.
I have just purchased a Pam 312 from a reputable watch store. The Ltd Ed number is xxxx/2500 but those I see online seem to be xxxx/4000.
Also those online have a brushed steel case and mine has a polished steel case.
Do I have a variation of the Pam312 or have I got a different Pam?
I have no reason to think that I have a fake. Everything checks out but for peace of mind I would like to know.
Thanks in anticipation.

The only 1950s case that's polished is the 359.

Assuming it's genuine, either you have a re-dial or a 312 that's been polished.

Some pics wold help, please.

By reputable store, do you mean a Panerai AD or boutique?

Btw, the numbers are the 'Millesimation' (numbers of each watch-type made in a year), not LE, and the total will vary per series/year.

It would seem thru added research that my watch is the Pam 359.
Thanks to a member that identified that the only polished case in a 1950 is a Pam 359.
There is a detailed video on line of the Pam 359 and every thing looks identical.
Photos are a pain as I use photobucket. Just cant seem to get the images to upload here.

Thanks for the info.
I researched the Pam 359 and it seems that exactly what I have.
There is a video on U Tube that shows the details of the watch and it matches up to mine exactly.
I am having problems using Photobucket to upload images. Its a pain trying to figure out and Photobucket is so slow and takes forever.
Thanks again

You need to refrain from using such language on the forum.
This was an honest attempt to upload photos to clarify my original post.

If it is a real one then that is a pam359
The 312 only has the 12, 6 and 9 numbers and they are green

Thanks for the info.
It is not a replica therefore your suggestion that it is a Pam359 is spot on.
I appreciate your input.
