Ive attached a few photo's, unfortunately I don't have any side on. It's a lovely watch, quite light for the size thanks to the Titanium. In terms of height I can't recall the measurements but it is not that tall compared to a Planet Ocean or Deepsea. I have a 7.5 inch wrist

^ Just seen how big the photo's came out and that they don't really show the watch from a decent distance on the wrist..........about as much use as a chocolate teapot sorry!

Nice Pics,
Have you still got these watches? Any pics of the blue on the black rubber and vice versa?

The pics aren’t great, but they give a good feel for the fit on my 7.5” wrist. It’s a big watch - as large as I would go, but very comfortable.

Thanks for the pics!

Thus far I've been through a dssd and a sd43. liked the case size on each but both were too top heavy and floppy for me.

I then moved into a exp2 42mm. Loved the weight and balance at 150 or so grams, but the case was too vanilla for me.

I'm hoping this one hits the mark then for me both in weight, case size and more modern design features too.

I also like the bezel overhang. Would you say this wears more like a 44mm case due to the bezel or is it true to 42mm?

I’ve never owned a watch larger than 42” so I can’t say that it wears like a 44, but it visually appears larger than my other 42” watches. I found it a bit floppy and top heavy on the supplied rubber, but rock solid on the bracelet. On bracelet it’s the most comfortable watch I’ve owned. I love this watch.

I have 8in wrist and think this looks fantastic size wise. The titanium is great and it weights less than a Submariner.

I own the LHD and the Blue Pelagos. They are great watches and are very much a daily wearer. The Titanium and bracelet clasp make them almost perfect in my opinion. I also own the SD43 and think the Pelagos wears at least as large as it. My wrist size is 7.5-7.75 depending on the weather. I think that the difficult decision will be to go with the LHD, Blue or standard Black. Good luck with your decision and I look forward to an Incoming thread.

I found the Pelagos wears larger due to the larger dial and colored chapter ring.

Definitely lighter though.

Larger the better imho for us bigger gents.

I always loved how the 40mm guys with 6 inch wrists complain about modern watches getting too big.

For them I get it but for us 40mm is borderline.

44mm is my sweet spot so I hope this wears slightly larger.

Does anyone have pics next to a sd43 or dssd by chance?

would be cool to see for comparison purposes.

Anyone with small wrists pull off a Pelagos? I'm thinking about adding one but I'm only 6.3 inches wrist size.

From this Google image it makes the sub look tiny!

on paper I thought it the perfect watch. I tried one on and the size, lug, thickness and bracelet all are really big. It plays way bigger than a normal 42 dive watch IMO. I would really recommend trying one on. 7.5ish wrist for me.

Yep. I've got roughly 6.5" wrists. The lugs go end-to-end on me, but I think it looks good. Has been my daily wearer since I purchased it a couple of years ago.

I sold the Black but still have the Blue and LHD. I did wear the Blue on the Black strap and it looked good, never worn the blue strap on any of them. They are both on bracelets now and have been for quite a while as I decided rubber isn't for me!

I've no photo's of the Black strap on the Blue watch unfortunately. I think the only option I wouldn't go with is the half black half blue scenario you were thinking about

Go for it!

On paper the Pelagos is a big watch. In real life it wears much smaller.

Not the best quality photos but here are all three on my flat 7 1/4” - 7 3/8” wrist.

Ultimately, I chose the SD43

I have both the SD43 and the Pelagos. I think the Pelagos wears a tad bit smaller only due to the weight. The Pelagos does sit higher on the wrist. Not by much, but it does. I usually wear my watch a bit on the loose side, the Pelagos on the rubber straps hardly moves at all.

I have an 8 in. wrist BTW.
