Pat. Pend 9315 help

Does this look correct? Should there be a rolex crown on the divers extension?

Also which years were they in play? 67 to 71? Or 72?

Where's the scrollwork on the extension?

As to dates, that's a tough one. My 9315 had a no-date clasp and "PATETED" extension, original to watch with 70 caseback.

I think that there should be a crown on the extension.....is this oem?

i just got off fleabay and i want to make sure it is legit. The links look fine but the divers extension, i think, should have the rolex engraving on it.....right? or is that not needed....all my pateted and patented do....please advise.

"PATETED" was a correct misprint from 70/71 only

Looks like a much later generic replacement part, it does not match the condition of the links...

I see pateted from about 71 through 76ish. My first patented is on a 76/77 bracelet.

I've never seen a diver's extension without the Rolex scroll work.
