Hi Orchi

My 1675. Serial 623,XXX. Caseback IV.60. Movement D229XX

As mentioned to you before, I have been told it is likely a re-lumed dial

Andrew

Buddy Orchi - what do you know about the GMTs with UAE/Oman dials. Any research you have there?

Err Buddy Andrew...IF the original Seller had told you that...
"it is likely a relumed dial"...
it could mean he's unsure about it...

Orchi would love to see it in person to take a closer assessment...
whether it's indeed relumed...or NOT...

Could you check n provide the Cal.movement nos. engraved on the base plate...?

Oh btw...if anyone asks you how Orchi looks in person...
please tell them Orchi looks old...n ugly...

n regarding the 1675 GMT with UAE or Omani Dials...
they do exist...n they are said to be for Military...
Some of these 1675 GMT watches were seen fitted...
with the infamous ALL Blue GMT Bezel insert...
which is very mysterious yet cool feature to have...

Recently Orchi came across a sample of the ALL Blue GMT bezel insert...
said to be "100% original Rolex"...

BUT the 1st impression has disappointed Orchi somewhat...
It was not consistent to being the All Blue GMT Rolex bezel insert...
that Orchi had expected of...

The "Blue" paint comes off too easily...

This thread is 7 years old in case you didn't know.

Regardless, a I.60 1675 is a nice piece and a very early one. Mine is III.60 serial 517XXX.

Yes I know but I have found no other place discussing movement numbers which is of interest for me. Please let me know if there is another source.
Cheers
