So when can we call a Rolex watch to vintage?

of course 60's 70's 80's these can be easily called vintage but how about the discontinued models like the 16600 , 16570 , 114270 , 116520? or are we just strictly talking the number of years? ref, numbers mentioned above are still relatively modern but discontinued. so what are you're thoughts?

The 16570 came out in 1988. That was 31 years ago. I think the 5-digit models are creeping into vintage territory.

Didn't the 6 digit era start in 2005? That was 14 years ago.

If 5-digit models aren't vintage, then they'll be creeping into that territory soon enough.

The Rolex Service Center in Paris, France, is, since sometime now, accepting only "vintage" Rolex and for them it means 30 years old and older...
