Finally back in the family!

After regretfully selling my 16610 LV a couple of years ago I've been thinking long and hard about what watch would get me back into the Rolex family. I could get another LV, a ND Sub, or maybe even a Pepsi...all of which I love, and contemplated. However, I knew I wanted my return to be something special, and one that I would never part with.

So, here it is...

My birth year, 5.8 mil 1680 Sub with a lovely patina, and fresh tune up from RSC thanks to Scott & Jacek at H.Q. Milton. I'd say she's a keeper!!!

I simply love it! I want a 1680 just like that! Did you get box/papers with it? And how much did she run you if you don't mind me asking? Congrats!

Welcome back and beautiful choice. Love the even creaminess of that patina!

I too have worked with Jacek and team and have been very pleased. Even had time on a trip to to visit them in SF.

Thanks everyone! I absolutely love it, and it's great to be back in the Rolex family! The guys at H.Q. Milton made me feel like I was working with a trusted local shop even though I'm practically on the opposite end of the country.

Just the watch. As I've learned from our vintage gurus on here like SteelerFan65, I looked at the condition of the particular piece, and it's service history rather than what it came with.

Let's just say that they have many other 1680s on their site that are all priced in the same ballpark.
