Tudor 79190 Sub crystal
Can any one help?
just picked up a Tudor 79190 sub with sapphire crystal which has a few chips on it.Where can i get a good quality replacement sapphire crystal with the correct size cyclops? I am happy with generic as long as the look and quality are good as I don't intend to dive with it. It would also be helpful if I knew the correct crystal reference number as well as having searched some online sites they quote the Tudor/Rolex crystal reference number which unfortunately means nothing to me. If I'm barking up the wrong tree and really should stick with OE then please feel free to advise but I only want one supplied not fitted as my watchmaker can do that and I know if I call Rolex they will only supply AND fit thanks in advance Guy |

Might want to post this in the watch tech section here. I would think that a RSC could help you obviously and or any independent watch repair person with a Rolex parts account. Shoot off a PM to Rik at timecare, he's a member here.

why can't your watchmaker track one down, he must have connections and a supplier?

here are some pictures though as you can see photography is not one of my greater talents!
its a nice complete set even down to the original purchase receipt.never been serviced hence its now stopped. see the chips around 12 oclock? if its still watertight I may leave as is for now and just get the movement overhauled. here's a shot next to its brother Guy |
