thoughts on this 1675 pls?

howdy, everyone. newb here. i'm looking to get my first vintage gmt and would love to hear your thoughts on this one that i've found. serial puts it at '68. bracelet is pretty stretched out, which i don't necessarily mind - might throw it on a nato. love the patina on the bezel. is there anything about this one that makes it particularly desirable or not desirable? still figuring out all the dial variants... pounce? pass?

thank you for looking.

It wears a correct mark I dial which is the most common dial found on the vintage GMTs. The insert looks like a later replacement.

Some thoughts - none that are red flags unless you wanted 100% original.
I didn't see patina on the bezel insert - it is very likely a replacement. I'd be sure to check if it is authentic.
The hands have been replaced except for the 24-hr hand - note the patina shift.
The bracelet appears to be the Rolex USA one with centerlink loops but can't be sure without pics of the clasp inside and out. Not a problem since you mentioned strapping on a NATO.
Last things I can't see/tell but often crop up on older Rolexes. If you can't get a full service history (as is the case 80% of the time) then have the crystal, tube and crown checked for authentic Rolex parts. May not matter if you're having it overhauled since that can be fixed at that time. But I've seen many watches where the last watchmaker used some "generic" parts. They work but again it's about authenticity.

Nice even matching patina on the dial and hands - why let the insert put you off? Even if it's a later one, it has a nice fade and looks great on the watch.

I don't see how anyone can say definitively that the hands have been changed, and which ones! The spot in the second hand looks exactly the same as the 24-hr pointer to me, and overall they match pretty well IMHO. Then, there's lighting, angle etc. to consider when making absolute statements...
