Rolex Oyster Prima Ultima
Hi all. Have come across this forum in my quest for information. This is my first post so not sure if anyone can help. I have a fairly old Rolex Oyster which my father left me in the early seventies. I believe from what I can discover that it is dated 1943. The face has the words Prima Ultima just above the movement for the seconds hand.
It has the original leather strap, gold finish and appears to be in good condition. The watch has not been used since I was left it as I was afraid of damaging it. In those days my watches wouldn’t sustain all the diy and mechanical work I used to do !!! Inside I can find the following references, but I’m not sure what the model no is. 260554/1925 274,789 15 Rubies Rolex hair Spring If anyone is aware of this particular model and can provide any info on it, I would be most grateful. I am in the UK so perhaps you could also point me in the direction of a reliable and trustworthy valuer or dealer that might be interested in purchasing. Many thanks . |
