Hi Knowledgeable Lady & Gents,

Thank you!

So many chances for the fakers to duplicate - and the packaging as well - and Rolex had several variations over the years...

Maybe you can tell from some comparisons.

Thank you so much. This one has squashed eight tops on a blue back.

Blister packaging is somewhat funny/fonny?

There are these legit fat font blue backs out there for sure. I picked up a couple last year.
Extremely difficult to tell the difference from a red back by the fonts. And they cost 1/4 the price of a red back cousin. Best bang for buck IMO.

Lol was this in the mid 1980s ? I am fairly certain these blue back fat font inserts were sold during that era and are not currently available. They were transitional.
Am I mistaken ???

This was 2 weeks or so I went into my local AD asked if they could order me a Bezel insert was told no problem paid the £55.00

2 days later got a call it was in the shop dropped off the watch went shopping came back and the bezel was installed and the old red back was handed back in a packet
