Incoming Stowa!

After only a 24 day wait from the time it was ordered my Stowa Flieger arrived this morning.
This one is the 40mm version with logo and hand winding movement on a brown strap. The hour and minutes hands are outlined in blue and the onion crown is superb. I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations. It is really just lovely in its elegant simplicity.

I’m going to be looking for a distressed brown strap to go with it...a bit darker than the stock strap. A few of the Colareb straps look like they would complement this watch nicely.

I have a MO and it was better than I expected for the money too. Very nice quality watches for the money.

Congratulations! This is my favorite flieger and it's an excellent value. I also think you got it in the best configuration possible (logo, no date, handwind).

Thank very much and I agree completely. With the options available this was the configuration that most appealed to me.

Many congrats! I am a sucker for simple dials and classic looking watches, and this checks all the boxes. Looks awesome and I love the vintage pilot watch. Enjoy it!

Very nice!

What movement is this, by the way? 2801 or 2804?

Curious to know if the crown has 3 positions (non-existant date) or just 2.

Thank you.
It’s the 2804-2 movement with 2 crown positions.

Thanks guys.
Right now I’m looking at a few Haveston canvas or NATO straps to go with it.

Thanks Steve. I’m really enjoying this beauty.
I forgot to include the case back in the original photos.

I swapped out the stock strap today for a Colareb distressed leather. Looks much better (in my opinion) and definitely fits my wrist better. Very happy with the purchase.

Really cool watch, I'm a sucker for Pilot/Flieger watches. The strap looks really comfy on yours. I currently have an Archimede.

I’m really happy with this watch. The strap is a Colareb, soft as butter right out of the box. I think the combo works very well.
