Hey All,
i'd like to hear about any and all experiences and recommendations of aftermarket rubber and leather bands for the AP RO's. Thanks! |

Just ordered that same rubber b strap for my 39mm roc
Pricey but Swiss made quality with titanium inserts so no need for plots if you aren't on a leather strap or outfitting a roo Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk |

Vagenari strap with steel plots cost me around $300.
Works very well, tang buckle is more comfortable than deployant clasp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

how's the fit of the vagenari strap?
been looking for someone who bought those straps since they seem to be the only other alternative for a15300OR |

Rubber B is bomb - only complaint is the look of the velcro vs a tang buckle or deployant.

Rubber B for me, Inexpensive considering that you don't need to buy a conversion kit. The offshore is on oem rubber and both straps are identical in finish and quality. I can't see myself putting a made in China product on an Audemars Piguet reason why I won't purchase a Vagenari or Horus.

Why only aftermarket? Why not go with AP OEM?

You can find good deals on the OEM AP straps on Chrono24, some of which are new. I picked a new black rubber strap for my 42mm ROO for $300 shipped.

15400 on AP rubber strap and deployant is killer. Don't see why anyone would go aftermarket unless they were trying to steer clear of the deployant clasp.

I have a ROC 25960/26022 which is the rose gold chronograph with both a brown leather strap and rose gold bracelet. I can change between those two options quickly.
I also have an AP black rubber strap and am looking to get an AP brown rubber strap. Since I only have one set of plots and one AP deployant, I actually like the idea of the rubber b strap with Velcro because the case screws come out with a single screwdriver and I don’t have to switch the deployant from another strap. The only bummer is that I love the look of the plots extending from the case. So while I agree with most that the AP bracelet is just an iconic look for a Royal Oak, there are times when I want to dress it down. Plus I prefer rubber straps in the summer when it’s hot and when I’m in short sleeves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
