Mystery spot appeared on Tudor Sub dial
I swear it wasn't there before. But I discovered a mark, looks like silver, maybe from the hour/minute needle? How does that happen? I'm not sure how much it bothers me, but definitely cannot be unseen now.
Photo was my attempt at illustration haha, but you can actually see it with naked eye. I'm not going to take it to RSC just for this, but wonder if there's a trick to loosen it so it falls to the edges, or if it's a scratch? Any idea? |

Well if you loosen it there is a chance it doesn't just fall to the edge, it could fall through the date window and mess up the movement itself!!

Just take it to the AD first and let them give you an assessment.
There is a strong possibility it could be blown out easily. |

I have a Tudor North Flag that has a speck of dust under the dial. Doesn't bother me (I have to hold it up to my face or break out the loupe to see it), when I eventually get it serviced it'll be gone.

Need a better magnified photo to see what that is.
But what chro.nic said is true - if it is loose debris, you do not want it getting into the movement.

I can see a few marks in there.
Below the M & I in Submariner too. Hope it's just dust specs.
