New to Panerai

Hey guys,

I have some Panerai questions and would like your help.

I was wondering what is the most "tool" or sub/exp-like watch in the panerai lineup?

Does panerai offer rubber straps on all watches?

Does panerai have a brushed model instead of polished?

What is the "best" (I know best is a relative term) Panerai for daily wear?

How is Panerai service compared to Rolex?

Thanks!

Does panerai offer rubber straps on all watches? Probably the best thing about Panerai is the selection and ease to swap bands in seconds even if you are not a watch mechanic.

Does panerai have a brushed model instead of polished? Yes plenty of different options.

What is the "best" (I know best is a relative term) Panerai for daily wear? I only own one so for me I chose the 312, my personal favorite.

How is Panerai service compared to Rolex? Can't answer but assume way cheaper.

Thanks!

Prefer for user 000 because of the lug screws and snap caseback.

But otherwise, 1000 would be a fine choice.

Zero has screwed-in case back. The new 1000 has the spring bars and snap on case back.

This question seems to come up a lot...which is great, because it means a lot of people are venturing into the fun world of Panerai.

I always recommend the PAM 000 as the perfect starting place. I mean, it makes sense to start at zero, right?

SHORT ANSWER: 000 OR 111

Does panerai offer rubber straps on all watches?

YES, BUT NOT ALWAYS AS PART OF THE STANDARD SET.

Does panerai have a brushed model instead of polished?

YES, MANY OF THE 1950 LUMINORS CASES ARE BRUSHED (312 AND SIMILAR). ALSO THE TI MODELS LIKE 176/177. ALSO, 164.

What is the "best" (I know best is a relative term) Panerai for daily wear?

WHICHEVER ONE YOU LIKE BEST.

How is Panerai service compared to Rolex?

GOOD QUALITY. NO WORRIES.

Thanks!

That is one good looking watch!

I'll be looking into the 000 and the 1000. I want a simple time only piece and these seem to be the right choice.

Thanks!
