If it's a nice one that's a really good deal. Post some photos of it.

It has replaced hands at some stage and a different bracelet the rest of the dial is superb a lovely colour , there is one rolex service mark and another local service that was carried out in 1984 .the original receipt is dated 1967 with booklet although the watch is a 1965 model.

That would be significantly under market value if in good condition. I have a 1966 and looked for a long time. Nothing decent under 20K when I was looking.

If the watch is original, at that price, buy it! If you don't, please let me know the details and I will. If you're unsure as to the originality, post some photos here and the members will happily advise.

Ok I will have another look tomorrow , does it matter that the hands have been replaced although almost matching the dial ? Thankyou for your comments

On a model such as this, the dial and the case would probably be the most valuable pieces. An original bezel and bracelet would also be quite valuable. The hands being replaced, while not as nice as all original, should not be a deal breaker at the price you quoted earlier.

Still not the best of pics but I'd say it looks good for 10k pounds, even if not immaculate.
