New Bond watch, "The Commander"
This is when I genuinely question the brand......hideous all the way around except maybe the box lol........I can't wait to try to keep a straight face when boutique reps contact me about this :

I have to agree.... I think Omega produces far to many of these LE pieces.

I like the watch and I also like that Omega is coming out with some new products that will keep people interested in watches. It's all good as far as I am concerned.

If I absolutely needed to urgently spend a ton of money on something ugly, I could find a few other pieces I'd still buy before this one.

Unfortunately, I have to say this 007 LE is BUTT ugly!
This version is a real disappointing departure from the very pleasant Seamaster 300MC Spectre LE that Omega did in 2015 |

Is that thing in the upper part of the photo a military ribbon? And do people wear it on civilian clothes?

Omega has hits and misses (lots and lots of misses). This watch is a disaster. Why can't they just fit the sword hands from the 2254 and call it a day?

Agree but to make it perfect it needs not just the hands, but also dial, bezel insert and date wheel from the 2254

It's hideous, more like Fisher Price than Omega, and I just know that my best mate will buy one
7007 pieces, whilst technically limited, shouldn't be exactly difficult to get a hold of either. Especially looking like that! I would expect Toys R Us to be selling it.

I'm willing to forgo the wave dial. Hands and speedy style bracelet would be enough for me. I can not, and will never be able to, deal with those skeleton hands!

this is the reason omega loses maybe to the luxury fashionista crowd but those people tend to but swatches

Not my favorite with the 007 second hand. Colors are OK but Omega bought into the Bond franchise. Such is life. A make believe character with a gimmick watch. OK.

I hear you. Not my favorite part too but I owned two 2531.80 at the same time in mid 2000s. One with patina on the dial and another with luminova. It was a turning point for me. More than a decade buying vintage watches exclusively, and after getting my first 2531.80 I only bought modern pieces.

I have to wonder what the general reactions would have been had the OP absolutely loved it.
To mix some metaphors this appears to me to be a dog-pile of lemmings.
