That was my same configuration for my first Rolex; the previous version though, 16234. I dont think you can ever go wrong having a simple classic Rolex Datejust.

Thanks guys for the nice messages. Indeed the Datejust will always feel a little bit more iconic and special. I was so close to buy a 16710 (Black Bezel) from DavidSW and we had already negotiated the bank wire price but while browsing the Rolex website I saw this configuration. Went to the AD this morning and they had one available with the older style warranty card and I had to get it as I prefer the warranty card with name of purchaser on it. Still buzzing with excitement after wearing it for the whole day!
