Icon5 Picture Posting PITA

Hello everyone,

Looking for a bit of guidance; having trouble loading images directly on to forum......

Seen as Photobucket seems to share a 'preview' imagine nowadays when you copy the imagine URL....Which is basically a link to the real photo how is everyone still being also to post pictures direct?
Photobucket, which i have used to do this on various forums for years, are now demanding money for the upkeep of imagines, the cheek!

So...What product is everyone using posting photos these days? Still photobucket? Flickr? and How?

I have just tried google photos which seems to be most popular as far as free storage allowance but really don't like posting 'links' to images, prefer to just see the picture on the post right away.

Thanks

I've stopped using websites like photobucket because it is indeed a pain. I use the regular browser for browsing and posting, then if I want to post a pic I use the the Tapatalk app.

Tapatalk has put me on notice that my "grandfathered" app is about to expire and they want me to cough up another $15. The terms of service are not very clear as to what one gets for the fee. When I paid last time, it was supposed to be for life.

So, just a heads up that Tapatalk might getting hard to deal with.

I host my images on SmugMug. Overall I am quite happy, although there are much cheaper options available depending on your needs.

Thanks guys! Downloaded Tapatalk; edited my post on my phone and uploaded the images that way. Absolute nonsense to post a picture these days!

I use Flickr. The hardest part was finding a way to post images to the forum with a mobile device. The iOS Flickr app won't let you copy and paste BBcodes. However I found an app called FLExplorer that I could tie to my Flickr account, which will generate a BBcode for the pic you want to post, with many size options. You just copy and paste it right into the post.

I use the free version of taptalk and have no problems other than navigating around the adds.

Easiest is tapatalk. But my galaxy s10 takes excellent photos, and tapatalk ruins the quality of those photos

Well, I sprung for the VIP version and now they say that it expires on October 1. I'll use the free version, if it comes to that, in my book lifetime means lifetime. There was no mention of a grandfather clause when I started.

I use Tapatalk. I paid for convenience. I hate browsing and accidentally activating ads because my phone is old and the screen sensitivity is awful
