Beef and Cheddar croissant was my go to at Portillos when I used to travel to Chicago.

With that being said, I don't think it is possible to narrow it down to just one favorite sandwich.

Corned beef, pastrami, fresh rye, Russian, side of coleslaw, sour pickle, Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. All from a real NYC style deli, not some Boars Head crap.

I lived in Indiana for 4 years

Those people couldn't make a real pizza or deli sandwich for the life of them.
