36 DJ hidden clasp is gone as expected

and the price increases a few hundred dollars.

Very glad I brought mine last year. Make no mistake I like the new movement but the hidden clasp feature is a lot more important to me.

I’m so glad the hidden clasp is gone. No micro adjust is so incredibly inconvenient.

I liked the look of the hidden clasp.

I like the update to the DJ36. The EZlink is a must for me. I like the new dial, didn't care for the old chapter ring. I think these are all very nice updates to the DJ36 and brings it in line with the DJ41.

Are the lugs a little thinner? Hard to tell on my phone, but it could be. I think the DJ is the star this year.

Yes the lack of a micro adjustment to replace EasyLink is getting to be kind of lazy. Hidden clasp on the 36 just fits better too.

Not a fan of the new dial either. I really liked the classic railroad track tick marks ring.

Oh crap. I am going too miss the super jubilee bracelet. I was even hoping that they’d make one for the DJ41 this year. Instead it went the other way around. Crap.

Hard to tell. But now it looks like the smaller version of the DJ41 and that case was nicely proportioned from the DJII. Looking forward to learning more about it. As for the overall significance of the Rolex releases, this is the most significant. This forum tends to focus on the sport models, but this is the biggest update for Rolex this year IMHO.

Sadly I can't see all the new dial options for the DJ 36

Yes, the lugs have been thinned. Last year, the thinner lugs and new movement went only onto the TT Everrose models, this year it has made its way fully into SS.

I'm a big fan of the new dial. The Roman chapter ring sort of framed the dial, which made it appear smaller, which I don't think works well on an already smaller watch at 36mm. This year's dial will appear larger (I think, at least when I see it in person) and I think will work well.

I agree, no regrets with my recent DJ36, as I really like the hidden clasp, and am fine with the reliable 3135. I like the railroad tracks and small romans. It looks like the new DJ, which is nice, only comes in black or MoP.

New models do look nice. Personally, I would rather have the hidden clasp over the “upgrades”.

Rolex released the 36 TT last year without the hidden clasp. That finally convinced me they were going to drop this feature in the new SS version. So no point of waiting anymore and I pulled the trigger.

I would be very mad if this year instead they keep the hidden clasp and upgrade the movement:-)

Concealed clasp > oysterclasp on the DJ. Oysterclasp looks good on Oyster duh! The watch simply doesn’t look as elegant without it. At least they’re no longer selling TT watches with a steel clasp.

Having to buy a half link to adjust watch fit << being able to move a springbar in your clasp, or flip the fliplock.

The hidden clasp was lovely looking, but it lacked in basic functionality (I've been around long enough to remember when the crown popped off from regular use).

I have last year's TT DJ36. I wish it had the hidden clasp, as I never use the micro adjustments or the easy link.

My daily for almost a year. No issue and very satisfied. The best part is it still look new without the scratches from desk contact.
