The date window is the giveaway about the subdials being different size if you have trouble telling the size visually. The date window is centered between the two subdials on both models. On the older model it also centers between 4 and 5 o clock but on the new model since they are different sizes the date window is pushed downward, closer to 5 o'clock
Thank you very much!

I’m by no means an AP expert but to me it’s seems the sub dials may be the same size however due to the silver highlight around the new one- it may just be a visual effect that makes it look larger. Also, the 6 marker is bigger which may also make the sub dials look larger- and I have no idea why the date window is slightly moved

Either way- both watches are amazing. Would love to own either model

Got this oldie out of the safe

I put my RO chrono into the safe a 8 months ago, haven't taken it out in a while. Saw the thread, grabbed it.

White gold blue dial (26022BC) RO chrono in all of its glory.

Pardon the lens flare, somehow the light caught my camera at the moment of the shot...

The reason I didn’t get a ROC was because it costs so much to service. What has been your guys experience with service?

Mine was serviced three times in 2 years. Eventually I did let it go.

Bought 15400 - grey instead and very happy about it.
