Yes it was made for the Japanese market - I believe it's called the Yoshida Limited Edition - it was a collaboration with AP and the largest AP retail store in Japan I believe. I don't believe there is a reference number to my knowledge..

Someone can correct me if I am wrong though!

Yes I love evolutive tapisserie - I know the tourbillon has been around but somehow the evolutive pattern really helps draw me to the piece. A few months back I posted the SS plum dial evolutive pattern - really love the dial and the pattern.

I don't know whether this is a smoke fume dial or just a different blue dial altogether, because it's not the same blue dial as the frosted gold version that you mentioned, and at the same time it's not the same dial as the RG blue dial evolutive tourbillon either.. Love the piece nontheless and hope people love the photos!

Thanks for the info, found it at Yoshida home page!

Pretty cool that it's only available there and not AP homepage.

I also think the evolutive pattern really takes the RO tourbillons to the next level over the standard tapisserie, and that blue is stunning!

Was recently an incoming for this model so I will just post the latest and greatest here. Please forgive the fingerprints -- the watchmaker who put it on rubber is not as anal as I am.

Just asking because sometimes you have one small specialty on a dial that you recognize eyery time you look at.

My very 1st post. Still very new in this. Climbing up the AP ladder while enjoying the view and anticipation. With my trustworthy ROO Navy when on holiday.

Actually came in about a month ago but took AP a month to get the rubber strap and buckle. Finding an original beast in good condition and full set was impossible so I decided the reissue was the next best thing. Wanted the original forever so this one will be a keeper.
