I kept quiet...

I was at Sunglass Hut today getting my new Maui Jim's adjusted when I noticed that the 17/18 year old girl that was helping me was wearing a submariner except that it was very small, similar in size to the ladies date-just.

I asked if I could look at her watch and she sort of showed it to me quickly and made a comment that it was a graduation gift. I did catch the word Rolex on the dial and I just smiled and didn't make the comment about it being a fake.

My guess is that either she knew it was a fake and that's why she didn't really give me a good look. Or that she thinks it is real, but felt uncomfortable about it.

We know it would be fake, but I doubt she knows.

Maui Jims - Good shades, I must say! I have one myself, best pair of sunglasses that I've ever owned.

Yup, I would have bet it was a Tudor Mini Sub. Well, without pics...

It would be bad enough getting knocked over the head or shot through the boiler for your Rolex. Imagine taking a bullet for a fake. I'd feel like a real dumb ass.

A Tudor mini sub should have the Tudor logo and the word Tudor on it. This one clearly had the word Rolex on it.

I don't think she would have let me take a picture of it.

So she wasn't quite as confident as Mr. Lamborghini, eh?
