Watches & Pens

My addiction to collecting things extends beyond watches to pens. Just as watch dials and bezels have become more interesting with the various color choices so have pens. Thought it would be interesting to see if others shared the same passion for collecting pens that match their watches. I’ll start if off with this combo.

What pen is that? I’ve looked at the montblanc at my AD and for $400 and it not being gold , I said no to it.

Cool. Green is my favorite color. I too have a pen fetish, although as of now, none match my watches. But something to think about.

I have a few nice pens, but until now it never occurred to me to try and color coordinate them with my watch.

Another “buckle at 6:00” wearer. Typically do this on most straps since it centers the buckle under the wrist and is much more intuitive to install. Well done.

Some interesting pens in your Montblanc collection! Rollerballs or fountain pens?

Only have one ballpoint. That is the starwalker 100th year edition.
All other are fountain pen with different nib-sizes

I also collect pens. Just added a Mont Blanc pix today that’s not in this picture. I also have a bunch of other brands that aren’t as high end as Mont Blanc. Some of my favorites are Lamy fountain pens and retro 51 rollerballs.

I like to turn my own pens. A lathe, a few tools and a few hours of work makes for a great pen.

Eh, not So much

A watch is a complicted machine powered by a spring. A pen is much too simple a device to catch my interest. I'm in sales and i do carry a decent pen. It's a cross and is a nice pen for under $40.
