Favorite Gold Dress Watches
In this age of big, bulky SS sports watches, I believe there is still a place for an old school gold dress watch on a leather or crocodile strap. Here are some of my favorites. What are yours?

Bulgari Octo Finissimo is my pick.
A lounge lizard of a watch if ever there was one. Like the Royal Oak, its eight-sided design milled laboriously from one piece of gold into 110 edges and surfaces, means the metal really is showcased to its maximum brilliance. |

I’m a huge fan of dress watches from PP, VC and ALS, but my favorite is my Piaget, it flies under the radar, simple and elegant, a good blend of old and new in my opinion.
I’m thinking hard about adding a 5170G (white dial), also love the 1815 chrono boutique edition. Here’s mine! |
