Vibrations
What are your guys thoughts on royal oaks and being susceptible to vibration issues. My main thought is with the lime and bird scooters I see downtown. Would a ride on one of those be enough to set your watch off or am I being overly cautious

I can’t answer for the movement in your 15500 and it’s still a relatively new movement on the market - but certainly not had any issues with the 3120 in my diver which is the same in the 15400 (previous generation to your RO)
It’s had all manner of bumps, vibration and shaking through it without issue. As long as it doesn’t receive any major impacts or shocks you should be fine.

Yeah it wouldn’t be anything more vibrating than a scooter or say a motorcycle would be similar. Nothing extreme but always on my mind when I end up on one downtown Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That type of thing would be fine. The only vibration stuff mine has come off for is for the range. No idea if it would be ok or not, but not going to risk it with heavy calibers.

One of my best friends wears a Diver as his daily beater and on the exterior it looks like it’s done a Tour in Afghanistan but inside the movement still keeps perfect time. He has worn it from new for daily motorbike commutes and a motorcycle tour of Europe, I think he also wears it for mountain biking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The plan is to let this one see some action as a daily and keep my pm day date crisp. I don’t beat up too hard and try and practice situational awareness for things that may ding my watch so hoping I can keep her pretty nice but not gonna fret over scratches and patina Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
