Order in which you have purchased watches
On my quest for a second keeper timepiece I am going over in my head what I have purchased and what I have liquidated. For some reason everytime I try to finish a purchase this week of various PAM watches something gets in the way, usually a discrepancy in year, dial ect ect. which has me revisting Rolex, IWC again.
In what order did any of you purchase your watch brands or models. Right now I have a 114060 and looking for a complimentary watch, buying new. Probably in the 4-6K range. so far I have looked at IWC Ports Various Lumionors Watches I have owned that didn't stick Omega-FWOTM, Speedmaster Pro, Seamaster (regular blue one), felt like I was gonna shred the 2 Speedy watches on my boat (dont own boat anymore) Rolex-Polar EXP (prev model), Sub Date (prev model) both felt a little small for me IWC-Auqautimer-I really liked this watch, but had to let it go for $ reasons when starting my company, wouldn't buy again though thoughts? recommendations? Really still considering a EXP 1 without the lume dials maybe, DJ II. I think I have asked this question before with less detail as to why I was asking it. steve |

Rolex DateJust, GMT, Expy II (Polar), Tudor Submariner 75090 (blue, then a black one).
Currently have the two Tudors.

Started with crappy watches and came to my senses when I was 30 something.
Started with Omega Speedmaster Professional. Manual wind. The real moonwatch not the automatic heresies. Acquired a used Sub date and then a BNIB SD4K (favorite watch) Next watch will probably be the new Sea Dweller to go with my SD4K. Target watch is a nice Patek World Timer. I think the ref number is 5110(?) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Been over the course of 30+ years so no way I can remember. First Rolex was a Submariner and the second was a YG Day Date.

Sub 16613 was new in late 80's, the DD 18038 was used in early 90's and I mainly wore it on straps as a dress watch when I wore suits everyday.

starting at the very beginning:
bought several casios, a kenneth cole, a movado and a seiko (not 100% sure what happened to any of these); bought a seamaster 300, eventually sold it to finance a PAM00051; bought a 116610ln; sold PAM00051 (I think I may regret this but not entirely sure); bought a nomos tangente 38; sold the 116610ln to finance a 116710ln; bought an omega CK2998LE. |

I have flipped watches for over ten years now. I can't remember all of them but this craziness began with Omega, shortly followed by my first Rolex and then JLC. At this point I have owned multiple Rolex, JLC, Longiness, Cartier, Blancpain, Panerai, Girard Perregaux, AP and Breitling.
Have AP, Rolex, Omega and Breitling at the moment. |
