Which is the most iconic/best blue watch diver?

I was wondering what is your opinion when thinkning of the most iconic or best blue watch diver? I'm planning on my next purchase being a blue diver and the first one that comes in mind is the Omega SMPC 300m and then the blue Tudor Pelagos. I'm leaning more towards the Omega since I think it's a gorgeous watch and smaller for my wrist even though the Tudor has the better movement. What do you guys think?

Most iconic blue? I'd say the blue wave Omega SMP 2220.80. New SMPc is really nice, don't get me wrong, but that old one is an "icon".

Agree with El Duderino. Look for a used one with sword hands and waves on the dial.

I'd go with a Black Bay Blue for Tudor personally. I think the Blancpain Bathyscape in blue is quite sharp too.

most iconic, yea probably the tudor snowflake.

I might also throw out there the IWC Aquatimer Jacque Cousteau edition as a nice blue diver.

Personally I'd probably buy the Blancpain Bathyscaphe (newly released in 38mm if that size fits better)

Any of the blue wave dial SMP or SMP-Ceramic would be great, including the co-axial GMT version that comes in blue.

I don't necessarily agree the new Tudor Pelagos in house movt is better than the ETA movt inside the Omega. My 2c.

To me it is the Rolex 116618 with the blue dial. It is the gold standard, both literally and figuratively. If you want to talk about the most watch for the money in a blue diver it goes to the Pelagos. Great movement, case and lume. Save yourself 20K and get the Pelagos.

Old Omega Seamaster with wave pattern + sword hands is a good choice, I wouldn't say iconic but pretty classic

I think Rolex Submariner Blue or Deep Sea in blue dial. In terms of desirability Rolex should weigh more than others

Ruk, as much as i agree that the 5711A has a beautiful blue dial.
IMO, it is not a divers watch.

Another vote for the blue Snowflake as iconic.

Also might consider a GS, which makes a helluva nice blue dial diver.

Bluesy of course. Two tone or full gold. 5 or 6 digit. Classic blue faced diver.
