**The 2017 NFL Thread**

Brandon Marshall and OBJ together in the same locker room. A new height in craziness to come.

I think they will be fine. Marshall has BPD and has improved over the years. OBJ will eventually grow up. this dual threat will give every NFC East team a big headache. I am more interested in where tony romo ends up. I really hope it's Denver.

I think Eli will have a hard time with that receiving core. They will both want the ball and complain when they don't get it.

So will Romo go the Broncos or Texans?

I think Romo is most likely going to Chicago.

Have you seen the Redskins fall from 8-7-1? Lost OC, GM, WR1, WR2, and The QB won't sign the tag. And worst of all retain Snyder as the owner.

I seriously have never seen a team in such disarray. I have zero doubt that *I* could run the team better with no experience. Who hires a GM and then tells him to stay home during free agency? If you hate him that much just fire him.

LOL. yes I have. the skins are just too painful to watch both on and off the field. cousins is an average QB and seeking top 5 money. they should trade him to SF once he signs the damn tag. skins under snyder is a laughing stock of NFL. they own 2 of the top 10 free agent busts in history, albert haynesworth is the #1 all time bust.

Bears ownership is right up there with the skins in basket case ownership.

feel sorry for Malcolm Butler who literally gave Patriots their super bowl while continue making 600K. i guess thats the cold hard business side of professional sports.

The Bears are incapable of making a smart QB move. Maybe it's faulty McCaskey genes, but they continually make really stupid QB decisions.

Hawks need to go after Butler. He would fit nicely with Sherm!

Doubt the Pats will play with the Hawks though.

He's a former 1st round pick from SC. He was decent (at best) in buffalo, but NOT worthy of top DB pay. Hard to 2nd guess BB tho.

This year's draft class is DEEP in quality CB's. The Hawk's should save their money and draft a young gun to eventually replace Sherm.

Indeed, actually two UW Huskie DB's (Baker, King) in the draft that are both very good and with good size. Would love to see the Hawks draft one of them and keep them in Seattle. Sherm will be back next year and be good for a few more years. He was hurt most of last year. But we need someone on the other side so he can play his position and not the whole field....

The good thing about "my 'Skins" is that they never fail to disappoint me.

All I need is for them to sign Romo, let him come in and get hurt (after HUGE hype because he'd be playing against Dallas, and corresponding $$), and we get Manzeil as a back up. Yup...that would be the cherry on top.

We could trade someone 3 more picks for RG3 again and watch the Redskins forums break the internet. OR maybe we try to make Vince Young Great Again http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...gain-trademark

Sherm will be in decline in two years. His injury woes now portend to his durability (or lack of) later. Your secondary is in its late twenties (Sherm 28, Kam 28, Earl 27), and the fact is that speed decays very quickly at 29-31. You need a big youth injection now so that you'll have capable young veterans when the legion of boom goes all Revis on you.

Brock was traded to the Browns. Browns get a 2nd Rounder for taking Brock from Houston.

"sources" say Browns intends to trade Brock as well. I would think hue jackson is smarter than using Brock as his starting QB. LOL

And apparently if they can't trade him they may cut him if he doesn't put up in camp, and call the whole thing $16M for a 2nd round pick.

Madness!!

If they take one of these receiving TEs in this draft they could be a scary O again.

While these moves are interesting to follow, I'm afraid none of them will stop the inevitable Patriots repeat as Superbowl champs in 2017/18.

Pats have lost nothing and will probably be STRONGER this year than last.

It's a shame it's come to this, but the rest of the league is so weak and predictable now, that other than Fantasy Football, it isn't really worth following as a casual fan...

If you're a Pats fan, it's a great time. Your team is good. Rest of the league stinks and barring major injuries, a repeat is all but in the bank...
