Need a Good Travel Case. Suggestions?!
Going on trip in a couple weeks. How do yall store your pieces when traveling? Taking a watch box with me is not an option. Any opinions would be much appreciated!

Oakley watch vault or something from over on Hodinkee.com, although I'd just bring one watch and wear it.

I would not use the Casbudi. I would recommend a leather watch roll. I have one that holds 3 watches and packs nicely. I used going to Chicago last week.

Casebudi is great, there is no center insert but the Submariner for example doesnt "flop" around inside. Either the small or medium fits the sub (small is a bit tight)

One watch or several? A watch vault for one. A watch roll for several.
I like my LV watch roll. It's travelled extensively and is still in great shape. |

Just curious. What's your qualms with the casebudi? I have never had any issues.

I just did some research and read some reviews on Amazon. Some people dont seem to like the fact that there is nothing to hold the watch in place on the inside of the band. A watch roll would alleviate that concern IMO.

There is nothing on the inside to hold the strap of the watch open. If you put a Rolex with a stainless band in there it will be sliding around on itself getting scratched

I have LV and the downside is the absence of spacers between the watches.

the inside of my casebudi is slightly pyramid shaped so the bracelet doesnt scratch itself

I purchased several single watch cases very similar to the Oakley Vault called Shockcase; it's on Amazon and is $12 or so. Not bad quality at all. I will trust it carrying my YG Sub and SS Sub on my cruise.

Yup. I travel with mine all the time. If closed with the watch bracelet in the "round" it will stay that way and not move or rub.

I use a Phase De Lune roll, I also tend to have a Oakley watch vault in my carry.
Really wanted the LV roll but the lack of dividers made it a no go for me, in a way glad I passed as I then found the Phase De Lune at half the cost. I went with the two watch roll but they do one, three and four. |

Oakley watch vault is the most compact for one watch. I like the Wolf watch rolls as well (available direct though their website).
