Hello from SC 16760 GMT question
Have been intending to join this forum for a while. Thank you for this option. I'm 46 & bought my first Rolex in 2004-a two tone Sub. Since then, I've sold it (and many others) and purchased a stainless Sub which I wear daily. A few months ago I got a wild hair to locate and purchase a GMT 16760, which I did yesterday (no box no papers) from a gentlemen in Charlotte. I'm very please with the watch however, I am confused by the clasp.
Description: Model: 16760 Serial #: 9625xxx (1987 from what I can determine) End Links: 501 Bracelet: 78360 Clasp- 93160 From what I can determine, this clasp (93160) is somewhat newer. I'd love feedback concerning this. Additionally, I'm most interested in determining what original bracelet, end links and clasp the AD sold this watch with. Other than having the paperwork (and I don't), is there any way to determine this? Lastly, from what I can determine, an optional configuration for the 16760 would have been the 93150 clasp in conjunction with Bracelet: 78360 & End Links: 501 (pls help with this). Also, I believe a more handsome configuration may have been the above mentioned Bracelet: 78360, End Links: 501 & clasp 78353 or one similar. If I'm on the right track concerning clasp 78353, I'll be on the hunt for one. If I'm incorrect, please advise as to what other clasp was an option on the 16760.
