Questions about JLC Winding sounds.

Hi, I am new to this forum but I've been lurking for several months.

I have a question for JLC Chronograph and JLC Ultra Thin watch owners. Both watches have calibers that are operated by automatic winding, however there is a considerable difference in the winding noises they make.

More specifically, the JLC ultra thin is way louder (and the vibrations can be detected on the wrist), whereas the winding for the JLC chronograph is barely audible (if detectable at all sound or tactile-wise). Could this be attribute to the caliber design as well as the thickness?

Any points of clarification would help very much!
